The Swiss Informatics Society (SI) is committed to the interests and reputation of IT professionals in Switzerland. It does so through specialized groups, focused projects, high-level events (including the Swiss Digital Summit) and publications (including Digital Magazine), policy engagement on IT-related educational topics, draft legislation and national strategies in the context of digitization, Cooperation with other associations (including Swiss ICT) and sister companies abroad (including GI eV, OCG), participation in national and international associations (digitalswitzerland, IFIP, CEPIS) and participation in national and international working groups. CHOOSE

CHOOSE, the Swiss Group for Original and Outside-the-box Software Engineering, is a special interest group of the SI (Swiss Informatics Society). CHOOSE is a non-profit organization that pushes the boundaries of software engineering at the intersection of programming languages, model-based engineering, visual analytics, NLP, AI, and other emerging technologies. Through alumni organizations, former students not only stay connected to each other and their alma mater, but also actively shape the latter’s vitality. ICU

2017-2022

The ICU is the official computer science student association of the University of Zurich. We mainly help students through out their time at UZH and organise social events during and in between semesters. Furthermore, we represent the interests of the students towards the university and act as an interface to the working world by holding numerous events with potential employers. (ICU 2022)

Yacht Club Sempachersee (YCSe)

2001-present

Since 1944, sailors have been meeting for sailing regattas, club regattas, or simply to relax on, at, or in Lake Sempach.

The Sempachersee Yacht Club owns an exclusive property on Lake Sempach. The club lounge and the spacious lawn area with a barbecue are highly valued by the members and are actively used during the summer months. The infrastructure on the property provides excellent conditions for practicing sailing, relaxing on Lake Sempach, as well as for demanding sailing regattas and various club events, which are held at regular intervals.
